MyHealthTrends helps users upload, organize, compare, and visualize laboratory reports and health-marker histories. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and disclosed, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

• Extracted health information: laboratory markers, values, trends, summaries, and other structured information generated from uploaded reports.
• Subscription information: subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, and related billing metadata. We do not directly store complete payment-card numbers.
• Technical and usage information: device type, operating system, application version, error information, and basic activity needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Support information: information you provide when contacting us for assistance.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

• Directly from you when you create or manage an account.
• When you upload a laboratory report or image.
• Automatically through the application when necessary for authentication, security, diagnostics, and service operation.
• From payment platforms when you purchase or manage a subscription.

We use personal information to:

5. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

MyHealthTrends uses automated processing, which may include artificial intelligence services, to read uploaded laboratory reports, identify laboratory markers, and organize report information.

Information contained in an uploaded report may be transmitted to a third-party artificial intelligence service solely for the purpose of processing the report and providing the requested MyHealthTrends features.

Automated results may contain errors. You should review extracted information against the original report and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.

6. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate MyHealthTrends, including providers used for:

• Cloud hosting, databases, authentication, and file storage.
• Automated report extraction and artificial intelligence.
• Subscription and payment processing.
• Error monitoring, security, and technical support.
• Email delivery and account communications.

These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and are expected to process information subject to contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or MyHealthTrends.

7. International Processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. 8. Data Retention

We retain account information and uploaded health information while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

When you delete a report, it is removed from your active account. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or disaster recovery systems before being deleted or overwritten according to our retention procedures.

When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. These safeguards may include encrypted network connections, access controls, authentication, database security rules, and restricted administrative access.

No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through the account settings within MyHealthTrends or by emailing support@myhealthtrends.ca.

Deleting the MyHealthTrends application from your device does not, by itself, delete your account or information.

12. Children

MyHealthTrends is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.

MyHealthTrends is an organizational and visualization tool. It is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a substitute for professional medical care.
